Kinda makes me warm inside.

Peculiana is now taking a break for christmas, but I’ll be back early next year with new projects. Possibly a new short film. Haven’t done one of those for a bit.

Yes Folks, it’s officially the last day of Summer.
Did you have a good one? Hooray - me too.
It’s been a busy time here at Peculiana Towers, with a few yummy projects spawning that are just about ready to hatch on your screens.

I’m gonna start with the biggest news, cos thats fun. I’ve just finished a video for those wonderful, lovely and all round fun guys, THE PRESIDENTS OF THE USA! Hoorah. I’ve created them a smashing animated video (see still above) for their new single ‘Ladybug’.
I can’t quite put it up just yet, so this is a bit of a tease, but if you are hooked up to XBOX LIVE, you can download it right about now as a special live exclusive. (Only in the USA though - sorry folks).
Not long to wait for the rest of us though, as I’m told it’ll be knocking about on the usual video sites shortly after the US elections - and of course I’ll be putting it up here.

Next up, I’ve been working on a top secret project for the lovely Joel Veitch or RATHERGOOD.COM. It’s another thing I can’t really divulge too much about, but the vid is complete and will be doing the rounds pretty soon.

Lastly, it’s still ace news for CUP OF BROWN JOY. 7 months after it’s online debut, we’ve racked up an impressive 540,000 ish views on you tube, had interest from several TV stations including Channel 4 and SKY, had a charming request to use the video from a chap who runs an english tea room in San Fransisco, and possibly best of all, god-like tea company TWININGS will be using the vid internally as an ice breaker for stuffy meetings.

Live filming has been great, capturing BAD SANDWICH play a huge headline set at Brighon’s biggest indie venue CONCORDE 2, and I’ll be working with the lovely COME INTO MY PARLOUR folks again this haloween, filming their London shows at Hoxton Hall.

Phew - after all that, I’m going to be taking it slow for a little bit, but I have a few projects bubbling about that may just want to explode out of my head before I get a chance to sit down.
